Affecting Server - VPS Server
We are investigating an issue with our SolusVM Master control panel which is reporting an issue with database connectivity.
Affecting Server - VPS Server
We are working to resolve an issue with our VPS Control panel.
No client services will be impacted.
Affecting System - French Network
As part of our ongoing plan to improve our infrastructure, we will be rolling out a major upgrade to our network over the coming hours. This will involve the deployment of a brand new more powerful server in our French region, and migrating all clients currently on Turnip onto this new node. The new node will be code named Cranberry and will service all our French customers.
Over the coming weeks we will also be announcing the details of our migration from Tomato onto Cranberry, however we have not finalized this yet.
This migration will impact all VPS Services on the node, and some services may be down for up to 2 hours while we perform these improvements, however this will heavily depend on the configuration of your server.
We thank you all for your understanding.
Affecting System - Cucumber & Tomato
Due to continued issues with the deployment of our Cucumber server, all of the servers that are currently being held on our Blueberry node will be migrated back to Tomato and we will re-activate Tomato as a production server for our VPS Clients.

We will be starting this with immediate effect, we will post further information on the potential downtime / issues you may have had earlier.
Thanks for your understanding.
Due to an unforseen issue with the Cucumber node we will be moving all of the migrated servers back onto Blueberry and migrting the IP's with them so you will have limited functionality while we repair the issue, we will then re-migrate these to Cucumber once the issue is fixed.
Update: We have ran into some serious issues with the deployment, we are working on the issue and are keeping everyone updated via Twitter.
Affecting System - Tomato
As part of our continued plans to improve our infrastructure we will be upgrading the hardware for our Tomato server. As such we will be decommissioning our Tomato server and deploying a brand new server under the name of Cucumber. Most users have already been migrated away from Tomato onto Turnip, those that have not will be migrated and assigned a new IPV4. While we are performing the migration you should expect some downtime though we will try to minimize this as much as we can.
All of these servers will be taken offline and transfered to our blueberry server and from there your servers will be migrated to turnip. We will get some of the turnip servers migrated over onto the new cucumber server. These servers will be issued shortly on a new network status page.

We are currently investigating an issue with our offsite backup system on the Apricot server. From what we can see offsite backups have been failing for the last week or so however the on site backups have been working as expected. As soon as we have further news from the investigation we will update this page.
Update: We have identified and resolved the issue that was caused due to the recent IP Change.
Affecting Server - Melon
We will be performing critical WHMCS updates meaning that our billing panel will be offline for a short duration. We estimate that the downtime will be very minimal as it will only be the master update process that will involve any real downtime, however the server will be put into an offline state.

Update (20:02 GMT): The migration has been started without issue, we have however started it 2 hours later than we would have liked and due to the higher server and network load the data transfer (of around 500GB data) is taking longer than we expected. We are currently expecting the completion time to be around 00:00 on the 29th UK time. The server is currently down and will remain offline until the migration is complete. We will be changing the A-Records and NS Records over shortly so as soon as the service is restored your website will become operational again.
Update (10:00AM 29th GMT): The migration has now been fully completed, all DNS settings have been updated and service is operational. As soon as your local DNS is updated you will be able to see your e-mails, website and all other services running on Apricot. We thank you all for your understanding.
Affecting System - WHMCS Updates
We will be performing critical updates to our WHMCS setup making sure that we are fully up to date with the latest patches and feature updates. In previous updates this has caused un-expected issues, so we will be taking appropriate steps to prevent such a issue arising, however it is important to inform you that there may be extensive delays. We will be keeping you up to date through the blog as the update progresses.

Affecting Server - VPS Server
Update: After completing the hardware tests on the machine we are confident that there is nothing that we are able to test for that is at fault. A blog post will go live tomorrow that will explain in a bit more detail what did happen and what we are planning to do in the future to prevent such outages.
We are currently running hardware diagnostics on the Orange server to try to identify a continuing issue that disrupts connectivity to the server. We will be posting live updates on @SNServerStatus and hope to have everything operational within the next 30 or so minuets.
Affecting System - Strawberry & Mango
Due to a major failing on the Strawberry server we have had to wipe the entire of the node.
As such we have suspended ALL servers on strawberry and ALL Sponsorship servers on Mango to make the space required to fit the data onto Mango while we perform this re-install.
As soon as we can get Strawberry back up and running we will re-migrate servers onto it and boot them up. We will then un-suspend all servers running on Mango that we had to suspend.
If you have paid for a VPS that is running on Mango it should still be functioning and not suspended. If you have paid for a server on strawberry we sadly have had to suspend its usage to allow us to properly migrate and fix the issues.
If your paying for any of our services that we have had to suspend, we will include 1 weeks FREE VPS usage plus however many days it remains offline. If this is not satisfactory for you then you can contact our support team who will review it on a case by case basis.
Update: The issue has been resolved now. All VPS's have been restored without any data loss.
We can only apologise for the downtime and assure you that this was a chance error as part of a mis-configuration of our nodes HDD partitions.
We will be posting more information within 24 hours explaining all that happend.
Affecting Server - Plum
To allow us to continue our development and expansion of Superior Networks we will be moving the IP of our Plum server.
This is scheduled for Tuesday 11th November 2014 at 22:00 GMT and should be completed within 3 minuets.
The new IP will show as: 5.196.125.27
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause to clients.
Affecting Server - VPS Server
Due to UDP attacks on some of our clients servers we have had to temporarily de-activate the usage of incoming UDP connections.
Outgoing connections will still be allowed and we hope to re-allow the incoming connections very soon.
We are unsure exactly how long this will be in place, however until we can be sure that the attacks against the servers have ended we have little choice. We will be reviewing the situation every 24 hours.
Apologies for any inconvenience cause.
Affecting Server - VPS Server
Due to some issues with our data centre we are currently out of IPV4's. This means that new servers cannot be deployed at the current time. More IP's should be avalible very soon.
Affecting Server - VPS Server
As a part of our plans to continue to improve the overall network of Superior-Networks we are planning to migrate both Mango and Strawberry onto a new node.
This will mean we will have to take all of the VPS's on Strawberry down for a few hours, these servers will be temporarily migrated onto Mango while we install SolusVM onto the new node and migrate all of the servers from Mango (That will include Mango & Strawberry) onto the new node.
We should also be able to move all of our existing IP's from Mango & Strawberry onto the new machine, meaning once your servers come back online you will be able to get back to it as if nothing had ever happened.
The migration is currently planned for 14th October 2014. More details will come when we have decided exactly what time and if we need to change this date.
Thanks
Superior-Networks Network Managment Team
Affecting Server - Apricot
In an effort to further improve the network stability and further advance in our development plans, we will be performing a migration from our current Lemon server, onto a brand new far more powerful server that we have named Apricot. Due to this we are expecting up to 4 hours down time while we ensure that everything is moved, and the appropriate network records are updated.
Downtime Details:
Migration Start: Sunday 14th September 2014 at 19:00 BST (GMT +1)
Migration Planned end: Sunday 14th September 2014 at 23:00 BST (GMT +1)
While these are not the most ideal time, they are the only window that our team has to do the migration without risking an incomplete migration or possible failings of the migration.
Update: 18:45 - Migration starting ahead of schedule. Twitter updates to follow.
Update: 20:30 - After a mis-config the first time we tried it, the migration looks to be complete. A Blog and email will be send soon!
Thank you for your understanding!

Founding Director
Affecting Server - Apricot
To ensure that the migration has as few issues as possible we have initiated a cPanel update on Lemon to make sure it gets to the same version that the new server (apricot) is. We are not sure how this will affect client sites, but there should be minimal issues.
Affecting Other - Mango, Strawberry, Apricot, Mango, Plum
We have been made aware that the connectivity on Mango and Strawberry is not as fast as it should be. Our network manager has since run tests and it shows that the download speed is not as fast as it should be.
As such we will be contacting the DC as soon as we possibly can to try to get this resolved.
We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.
Update: We have been in contact with our DC provider. They are saying that the network its self is not at fault and has given us the steps we need to further check into the issue. If it is still happening it could be a hardware fault on both machines from what we are told.
Update: We have still had no response from our DC provider. We have re-run the tests and they are still at about the same speed that is not at the speed we expect. As such we will be re-contacting the DC as soon as we can tomorrow to see if we can get things back on track and resolved.
Affecting Server - Melon
Our main web-server (For our business website) is going to be upgraded. As such we will be moving all our files from Lime to Melon and then moving the appropriate records.
This means we are predicting 1 hour of downtime while we move files, databases, update configurations and change the records over.
Thanks
Affecting System - VPS Network
There is currently a SEVERE level issue with our VPS creation methods. For some unknown reason the VPS's wont boot up correctly and we have so far been unable to locate the cause.
This only affects VPS's being re-installed or created within the last 3 days.
To stop this affecting your server we would ask that until we can find the cause of this issue that you do not re-install your VPS.
Apologies to all clients affected.
Affecting System - WHMCS Billing Area
We will be taking the billing system offline to work on the new site designs integration. We expect it could take upto 1 hour.
Affecting Other - VPS's - Strawberry
There is currently some issues with our Strawberry VPS server. Network Tech's are investigating now!
Thanks
Superior-Networks VPS Team
Update (22:13 BST): The issue now looks to be resolved.
Affecting Other - Billing System
We plan to start the WHMCS Update to the latest version on 26th May 2014 from 9:30 am.
There is the possibility that things will break, because of this we are planning up to 2 hours of downtime on the system.
Thanks for your understanding.

Affecting Other - Domains Registrations.
This is to let you know that we are experiencing temporary connectivity issues with our upstream service provider which may result in registration and renewal failures of .UK domains. Unfortunately, there is no exact ETA at the moment.
Kindly allow some time for the issue to get resolved and do not place new .UK domain related orders for now.
Thank you for your patience and understanding.
Superior-Networks
Update:
We have just checked the latest updates from our upstream providor and they have still had no luck. The investigation on their end is ongoing. Anyone who has already orderd a .uk domain (Including .co.uk) are asked to contact support ASAP and we will try to assist you in any way we can.

Impact: Up to 1 hourAffecting Other - SSL Certficiates
It has been brought to our attention that there is a exploit in the SSL certificates that we currently use. This means that there is a chance for client data to be stolen in the payment process.
As such we have disabled the stripe payment gateway and would ask that you do NOT attempt any secure payments with us. Doing so is now at entirely your own risk and Superior-Networks does not accept any responsibility if your details are compromised as a result.
We will advise you of the progress however should have a patch applied later tonight.
Thanks
Update: The issue has been patched over and the risk removed. We will be re-adding stripe shortly. Thank-you for your understanding.
Affecting Other - SSL Certficiates
Unfortunately, an unscheduled maintenance is being carried out at our Upstream. The maintenance affects all new SSL activations. The source of the issue is being isolated and the technical staff are working at the moment to have it resolved in the shortest. The current ETA is 2 hours. We keep in touch with them and will be glad to keep you updated.
Affecting Server - Apricot
PHP is currently playing up, we are working to fix the issue and the permissions associated with it.
Affecting Server - Apricot
Due to unknown circumstances the FTP Server on the Lemon hosting server is not working how it should. We are currently trying to resolve the issue, but are unsure as to why the server is having outages. We will update you as it progresses.
Thanks
Superior-Networks
Update: the cause of this looks to have been a dodgy domain that we were testing it on, and the issue has now been resolved.
Affecting Server - Reseller 1
As part of our expansion plans for Superior-Networks, we have decided to move all current services on Reseller1 onto the new Lemon server. This means all clients on there have been given a free cPanel upgrade.
With this change the Netherlands Reseller hosting will be increasing by £1.00 per month on ALL plans!
Thanks
Superior-Networks
Affecting Server - Apricot
Please be aware that if you were previously on London Shared or Netherlands Reseller hosting and using MySQL, you will need to check your new cPanel to correct the new MySQL ip, as all we have done is moved the files for you!
Thanks
Superior-Networks
Affecting Server - Apricot
We are currently working on moving all Netherlands reseller hosting and London hosting onto our new Netherlands server.
All clients will be emailed with further information and new login information.
Any new clients who wish to get Netherlands resellers will have to pay £1.00 GBP extra than our Atlanta hosting, due to the extended costs of cPanel.
We aim to have everything fully operational within the next few days.
If you are a client, you will need to change your MySQL ip to the new server to get it working!
Thanks
Superior-Networks.
Affecting Server - Shared 1
We are expecting downtime on 26th January 2014 for required security and service updates and upgrades. The downtime is expected to start from 22:30 and will last no longer than 5 to 10 minutes.
All London Based Shared Web Hosting Servers will be affected. Reseller servers will NOT be affected.
Should you have any further questions please contact [email protected]
Update: Due to the time it took for the MySQL to be updated, all HTTP Services were NOT updated and will be updated at 22:30 tonight (27/01/2013)
Affecting System - WHMCS
As part of our plans to increase the security of our network for this coming year, we are moving to a dedicated IP. This will allow us to install a working SSL Certificate so as to prove we are who we say we are :)
To make this effective on sub-domains would cost us far too much money, so we have decided to move the clients.superior-networks.com to www.superior-networks.com/billing however this will be a rather long and possibly complex move.
As such the client area will be closed between 18:30 GMT and 19:30 GMT Tomorrow (Monday 20th Jan) while we complete the move over!
More work is scheduled for after this, including the installation of the SSL Certificate, however you shouldnt experiance any actual site wide downtime during this.
Thank-you for your support and understanding!
Affecting System - WHMCS
As an effort to keep the Superior-Networks website as up to date as we can we will be performing some basic changes to the WHMCS Billing area.
This may mean that during this time some styling is incorrectly formatted, or there are other bugs.
The Security of the billing will NOT be effected as PayPal handles it off site.
Thanks for your understanding
Affecting Server - Reseller 1
Due to memory issues on reseller1, we are restarting the server.
This will mean no more than a 3 min outage as the server restarts.
Thanks
Affecting Other - PHP
Hello Everyone,
Due to recent security issues, all scripts on the websites need to be running at their latest. All clients currently NOT running latest should recieve a email shortly about it.
